Our client is a well-established investment firm with significant property and agricultural holdings across Ireland and Eastern Europe. As they embark on a new phase of expansion, they are seeking a talented and ambitious professional accountant to join the team.

 

Job Description:

As Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the senior leadership team with group and subsidiary company filings, financial controls, and operations. This role will require you to manage accounting and audit partners while ensuring regulatory and tax compliance. This position offers an excellent opportunity to get hands-on experience with company operations and the potential to grow into the investment side of the business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage all financial operations of the group and its subsidiaries.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate financial filings for all entities within the group.
  3. Manage relationships with external accounting and audit partners.
  4. Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines, maintaining regulatory and tax compliance.
  5. Implement and maintain effective internal financial controls and procedures.
  6. Support the senior leadership team with financial planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
  7. Identify and implement strategies for financial efficiency and cost reduction.
  8. Provide insightful information and expectations to support future business decisions and initiatives.
  9. Provide company secretarial services

 

Qualifications:

  1. Must be a qualified accountant with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience.
  2. Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
  3. Familiarity with financial and accounting software.
  4. In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
  5. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  6. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
