We are seeking a financial accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be part qualified or working towards their accountancy qualification.
- Monthly accounts preparation and yearly audit file preparation
- Manage the fianance team, ensuring timely reports
- Monthly review of debtors/creditors
- Cash flow and supplier payments
- Revenue Returns (PAYE, VAT, CT)
- Review of overheads
- Other daily accounting requests from general manager
- Oversee bimonthly payrolll
- Some HR work
- Part qualified or working towards qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA)
- Experience working within a busy finance department
- Sound knowledge of MS Excel and previous experience with financial systems such as Sage accounts production/50 and collsoft payroll
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work flexibly, on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Experience in Revenue returns
- Payroll Experience advantageous but not essential
