1. Be responsible for key elements of the month end close process, ensuring that underlying processes, review and controls have been completed in accordance with standard process and on time.

2. Use technology to work effectively with large volumes of data and deliver timely sales, margin, financial and resourcing analysis to stakeholders
3. Preparation of annual budget, quarterly review of actuals and analysis of variations

1. Prepare statutory accounts and disclosure notes, ensuring adequate supporting evidence is maintained on file

5. Taxation compliance including VAT/PAYE/Corporation Tax (with support of outside tax consultants)
6. Grants/R&D Tax Credit -Financial support for grant applications, Grant claims and compilation of financial aspect of R&D Tax credit
7. Payroll – Review monthly payroll
8. Company Secretarial – ensure all required forms are completed and submitted on time

1. Complete ad-hoc projects and requests in support of company goals and overall strategic priorities

What skills do you need

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
• Highly analytical and excellent at using data to create useful information
• Have an interest in and aptitude for tools such as Alteryx, PowerBI or other analytical tools
• Must be an excellent communicator and able to effectively engage with colleagues and outside stakeholders at all levels
• Must be enthusiatic and keen to learn and in return this role offers excellent potential for growth
